You can set the default language to be used in the CAPI app. Note that the survey will always try to default to the language selected by the respondent in the survey, if available.
If the respondent's preferred language is not available then the survey will try to use the default language selected for the app (the language selected here). If this is also not available in the survey, then it will switch to the default language for the survey.
To select or change the default language for the app, follow these steps:
- On the Settings page, tap the language flag to open the Select default language overlay.
- Select the required language from this overlay. Upon selection, the list closes and the language is enabled.
The following languages are supported:
